In the rubiayat the persians were described as people who lived everyday to the fullest and didnt take anything for granted. They took great pride in their god Allah.
The manners of Kings had one simple rule. Treat others the way you would want to be treated.

flood!!

I believe that the stories of the flood that are told in gilgamesh and in the bible are very similar because the flood actually did happen. Although the flood might have happened before the bible was written, the story is still basically told the same way. I do not see how the story in gilgamesh could have been copied and rewritten in the bible.
